2013 Zero FX Electric Motorcycle Review - Riding Like A Superhero

I rode a lot of different motorcycles during my work.
Few people have triggered so much conversation like 2013 Zero FX, and this is the first time I \'ve had a long test drive on an electric motorcycle. "What is that?
\"Is that electric ? \"
\"I didn\'t even hear you pull in --
What is that?
\"How far can you go?
All the good questions.
Every time I Park Zero FX there, I hear them even before I get a chance to take off my machined helmet.
Zero FX is an electric motorcycle from Zero Motorcycles.
FX is described as a \"stealth fighter\" in a lineup that includes \"Street Fighter\", double sports, motocross bikes and \"city off-road ---all electric.
The FX slot is right in the middle of the zero lineup and contains features and capabilities from different ranges.
It shares car and battery options with Xu Cheng vertical and horizontal and Mu motocross, while the DS Dual Sport and S streetfiger models gain a more powerful power system.
Zero Base FX is FX zf2. 8 (
Price $9,495).
My test bike is FX zf5. 7 (
Price $11,990)
It carries a dual capacity battery that produces 44 horsepower and 70 lbs-ft of torque.
FX has a retro bike pose that is tall and narrow and very sporty.
\"Stealthfiger\" is described as a bicycle with its flat black finish and a design without decoration.
Several bystanders describe it as \"Batman\'s motorcycle\" and it\'s easy to understand why.
More careful inspection shows that the manufacturing quality of most parts is very good, and the beautifully processed parts and welds look like dumped coin stacks.
Some ugly exposed wiring harnesses and gaps reduce the quality of perception, but do not have much impact.
Forex is a cool one-
It just looks like begging for the bike being ridden.
But first, there are some technologies that need to be explored.
FX\'s dash provides information about the state of charge, speed and motor temperature of the bike.
The bike also has a Bluetooth link that can be paired with an iPhone or Android phone.
You can then run the Zero app to provide customizable virtual dashboards for other information such as estimated ranges and distances.
I have a very handy iPhone holder on my test bike handle.
My iPhone 4S is easy to connect with FX, I play around with some different dashboard settings and stabilize on the dominant display in the remaining range.
For any electric vehicle, mileage and charging status are the biggest problems. The FX ZF5.
The 7 is equipped with two modular lithium ion battery packs, each of which is equal in size, shape and weight to the car battery. (The FX ZF2.

The package is installed in the center of FX and can be easily disassembled and replaced without tools.
The bike will run in the case of a single package or a pair of installations.
It runs farther and farther with two charging packs, generating more horsepower with two packs.

The line torque is transmitted and the power is smoothed slightly to provide the maximum range.
Even in Eco, FX moves quickly with the twist of the throttle.
When the engine regenerates energy and simulates engine braking to regenerate some battery power, turning off the throttle provides some deceleration. components
After several tentative trips around the block, I was ready to put in traffic and test the forex.

FX is a motorcycle with amazing speed.
It rushed at the speed with silent authority, only making noise from wind and tires, making an exciting \"whoosh \".

The chassis is very balanced, and the angle of tilt on the street seems infinite.

Getting up from my seat is easy to attack bumps, potholes and other city obstacles, and I was even able to climb up some of the curb in slow trials --style speeds.
I explored a few dirt roads on the nearby hills and FX handled everything I could find.

But I am very confident that FX will complete this task at a low speed. There's 8.

Not a radical jump and motocross setting
Style riding, but this is machined not the purpose of FX.
I thought the range of the bike would be a problem, but it didn\'t become a problem in my two weeks with FX.
My longest ride was about 40 miles and when I got home the bike showed there was about 1/4 more capacity (
I ride hard).
FX will be a perfect bike for commuters who want to conquer the city streets.
The rapid explosion on the highway is everything you want to do on FX-
It is a little breathless when approaching the highest speed, and when you push the bike to the limit, the range will shrink rapidly.
I can think of many uses of foreign exchange.
In fact, its sealing motor is actually maintained-
Free means that as long as the battery remains connected to the power supply, it can be idle for a period of time without adverse effects.
I will keep a foreign exchange at the weekend or at the holiday home, ready and used at any time. The FX is user-
Friendly enough for motorcycle riders to move easily, and returning riders who have been away from the motorcycle for a few years will be able to jump on and master its twist --and-
Start the throttle and double handbrake in a few minutes.
I can also see that the security and police forces have adjusted foreign exchange to patrol bicycles, and the investment in additional battery packs and charging stations has greatly improved utilities.
The price is a bit of a barrier, think it is easy to see the whereabouts of foreign exchange funds.
The extra battery pack seems a bit too expensive, a danger of proprietary technology and a risk of low sales.
Battery improvements and subsequent price drops seem inevitable due to economies of scale, but may appear on future generations of electric motorcycles rather than on foreign exchange.
I really enjoyed my time at 2013 Zero FX and I would welcome more seating time.
I am looking forward to riding more electric bikes.
